Day 4,528—5 Runs until the Run Rabbit Run 100 and Elevation Training Continues—

Start time: 5:51 a.m.

Weather: Low 70s wind .7  mi/h, Humidity 91%

I have worn the mask every day since my run on Tuesday. The only thing that is making it more difficult is feeling congested today, so much that I am coughing occasionally, but it is Saturday. I hope to catch up on rest and drink a lot of water. I am happy I have been able to wear the mask, and I am feeling physically healthy regarding the pain I was experiencing two weeks ago. Still, there is always something, and as a race gets closer, it is more likely that my body will act like it is falling apart. When I saw the trains, the mist, and the sunrise, it looked magical. What happened to the top part of all the trains?

A moment later I saw a deer standing in someone’s front lawn. I looked closer, half expecting to find it was plastic, but instead I saw a whole group of deer hanging out. I took a few more pictures as I walked closer. In the past, I have noticed that the more they sense me looking at them, the more scared they get, so I looked forward as I walked with my camera up, taking pictures while trying not to watch. They weren’t scared. They didn’t run away.
