Day 3,651 —Prettier in Person—

        The red sky this morning was beautiful, but I don’t think it translated to my pictures well. I ran on the train tracks and looked at the different shades of magenta and how they shined through the clouds in the sky.

       I saw a herd of deer stop and look at me, I was running in the cemetery. They didn’t run away this morning, just looked over and watched me as I moved away. I am always happy to see them, and I feel bad that they get scared and run away.

Saturday is my 10th-year streak anniversary! And it is crazy to think about all that has happened since I started running every day. It started with a disappointing marathon time (3:32:00? Maybe, I am not sure, but it was slower than my current PR but not by much). I was feeling disappointed and unsure of what to try next, so I just started running every day, just to see how it felt.
