Day 4,002 —6 Days and 5 Runs until the Potawatomi 200! How many Warm Pairs of Clothes Should I Bring?—

I saw a raccoon this morning when I was running. He scurried away, but I took this picture right where he was before. I wondered if it was a raccoon that I saw outside my window this morning. I saw the yellow eyes, but I thought it might be a cat. Maybe the parent of the cat we adopted is returning to look for him, but there are always so many raccoons out. My watch gave me a +4 on my condition, and I thought that was accurate. Possibly it is just my body recovering from not having to fight the infection, or possibly my recovery from the surgery I just had. It doesn’t look completely healed yet, but it is getting there, and I am at least feeling better now.

I have been looking at the weather today for next week, and it is supposed to be relatively cold right now and some chances for rain. For such a long run, I am predicting there will be a lot of changes to the weather over the 4 days, but I was thinking I mainly would deal with being hot, but it doesn’t look like that is going to be a problem. It will be relatively warm at times, but the high right now is in the early 70s, so it shouldn’t be that big of a deal.
