Day 3175 —Happy 2023 Eve! — with a PUMPKIN and a SQUASH

I started at 11 a.m. thinking it was still early morning after I had been moving for a while. I originally wanted to go to Big River and buy a hat and maybe a new shirt, but I decided to run in circles around the seminary's trail instead. It was so quiet there and free from other people.

I was trying to go slow and walk when my heart rate got high, but I'm not sure how accurate my heart rate monitor was. I wasn't breathing with any difficulty when it said my heart rate was 175, but I know that's not the only factor. I did feel a little tense and sore. I didn't need to do a lot of miles today. My focus is on feeling fresh and healthy for the race—two more weeks!
