Day 3,332 —Butterfly Corner—
I saw the metal and glass butterfly attached to the tree in the corner. I didn’t notice the stone butterflies until I sat down. I remember taking pictures of the bees in this garden, either last year or the year before. It seems so pastoral in the pictures, but sitting there all I can think about is the cars roaring by.
I kept being shocked by how low my heart rate was during this run as I tried to run faster. On Grant’s Trail I felt like I was pushing it more, but the shoes I was wearing felt too small, maybe I need to throw away the pairs that don’t seem to fit right? It was a nice day: I hope to get out again soon.
