Day 3,357 —Late Night/Early Morning—

I had class until 10 p.m., and then I really wanted to finish a paper I was working on, so I did that, and it was almost 2, so I watched Frasier and then decided to go for a run. Sure, I could have tried to go to sleep, but I liked the idea of running in the dark at night when it was still and quiet outside.

I wasn’t disappointed; besides the construction workers pouring asphalt, there wasn’t anyone out. I noticed a hulking truck that was idling in the middle of the road. When I approached it, I saw that it was a paver, and there was no one in the driver's seat!

By mile 7, I was pretty exhausted, but I laughed thinking about how I do this after running all day, but somehow trying to run after staying up all day is more difficult. When I got closer to home, I saw that the abandoned car I had been taking pictures of was gone! I don’t know if the owner came back to get it or if it was just towed. My thinking was how does it take 6 + months to tow a clearly abandoned car? What were they waiting for? Someone to completely break the front and back windows? Yet, I am going to miss looking into that car; I feel like I have gotten used to seeing it.
