Day 3,329 —Feels Like Summer—
So many other people out on Grant’s trail today! I saw a gang of bike riders behind me who politely told me they were passing on the left. I was shocked so many people were out in the middle of the morning on a Thursday. I had class until after 10 p.m. last night, so I am enjoying finally having a little time off before I get into the next thing.
I loved taking my time on this run and focusing on keeping an easy, light stride. I stopped at Friar Tucks, which is a liquor store on the way home, to buy some cold coffee and to walk around. I wanted to see if they had any different nonalcoholic beers I hadn’t tried before, and I saw this one that was advertised for the Whicher, which I thought had its final season last year. So this is an old promotion, or maybe Witcher is coming out with a new season?
I drank my cold coffee outside the Applebee’s as I sat and watched the cars drive by. I guess this was a workout, but it felt like a leisurely jaunt. I thought about how many times I had gone down this road before and how it is still surprising me after all these years.
I am shocked at how long the Applebee’s has been here.
