Day 3,346 —a Father’s Day 10 —
I heard a train coming and ran over the tracks. I was over the tracks with enough time to get a little bored waiting around, so I could take a picture of the train as it approached, but it is always fun being so close to a train. It won’t be too much in the future when these types of trains aren’t there anymore, but I don’t really know. Maybe in the future, there will be more train travel instead of less?
Up before everyone this morning, so I went out for a run, knowing that as soon as I left, my daughter most likely will wake up. I tried not to think about that as I started my run. I didn’t think too much about where I wanted to run, mainly thinking I wanted to run a route that I hadn’t done in a while. I liked going down Gravouis. I always end up noticing stores that I haven’t seen before. I ran a little in the cemetery and down the gravel road that is adjacent to the park.
There were people out in the park, and I thought about how I never go to that park anymore. When I first discovered it, it was during the pandemic, so everything was closed. It seems weird to see so many people use it again. I wouldn’t mind riding a train if it meant I could give up my car.
