Day 3,557 —Will update my Shippey Experience Later! —

I wore the two jackets I should have brought with me yesterday for today’s run. I am still processing the event, and I am still disappointed, probably because some of the gear that could have been helpful is here at my house! My two jackets with hoods I left were. I had them out and was debating bringing them, but I have never used so many clothes before, and I brought three complete sets of clothes with hats and gloves and two jackets. I thought that would be enough. 

I didn’t bring another pair of shoes, which I usually do, but it just seemed like I was taking so much stuff, but my shoes were soaking wet after it snowed. I also feel great still! I wasn’t that physically tired at all; even though my body was literally aching from the cold, I still felt physically strong and had no blisters.

I probably have enough videos to make a short video. My goal for the video will be by the end of the day Sunday. It is definitely not as fun to think about these races when they end like this. I got a story out of this race; it was just not the story I wanted to tell.
