Day 3,741 —Running Errands—
I first went to the pharmacy to get a prescription I had been neglecting to pick up. I am not sure how I got ahead, but I have at least 10 days before I run out, but the pharmacy keeps calling me and leaving voicemails reminding me that I haven’t picked it up yet.
There is never a good time to go to the pharmacy when I am driving, so I figured running there today made a lot of sense. Afterward, I decided I should run to the grocery store and buy some frozen broccoli. I figured I needed more broccoli, and it would be somewhat challenging to carry home with me.
Someday, maybe I’ll try to live on only items I pick up while running. I imagine that would work for most things. I would have to make more trips. Yet, things like watermelons might be impossible to carry home with me. Potatoes might not be so difficult, but that is not a bad idea to try to do more of my shopping as part of a run.
The only downside is it made the run take longer, but it was relatively enjoyable, and I felt no pressure to run faster. When I started this run, I tried to go as long as I could without breaking a sweat, and I made it all the way to a mile
