Day 3,883 —I’d go back in time When—

When I looked at my watch, it showed I was barely moving faster than a 9-minute mile, which had to be right, but it just felt like my watch had to be broken because I was moving as fast as I could downhill. Most of the run felt this way, but I kept pushing it a little faster to remind myself how it felt to go faster. Suddenly I realized my ankle, knee, and hip pain all disappeared. I had almost forgotten that it was bothering me so much yesterday, but there you go.

I remember a moment yesterday when I was running and in pain and I just thought to myself if I could run a way where it would mitigate the pain—and I did— and I stopped being in as much pain. I have learned to adjust my stride over the years to mitigate the pain and maybe that will cause other problems, I don’t know.

Yesterday was such a blur, but I stayed awake until almost 11 p.m. I was falling asleep throughout the day, but I was mostly still awake and active. I tried to watch a movie, but I kept falling asleep at the same part, so after rewinding it twice I gave up.

I slept until 9:30 a.m. it was the most sleep I have ever gotten in one night. I felt so refreshed getting up and cleaning up some and playing Astrobot with my kids before I made it outside.
