Day 4,130—an Easy 10 and working on the Video—
There was so much on my mind as I was running, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying this run. I was determined to get 10 miles in before I went home. I had only run a little over 20 miles so far this week, so I wanted to reach 30 miles for the week. 30 this week, hopefully closer to 60 next week. It isn’t that hot anymore. I am still sweating, even though it is only in the 80s. I felt like it was so late in the day when I was running, but I guess it was only a little after 9 a.m. but time will do that to you. For some reason, the day between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. can all look the same.
I liked this path I ran. I wasn’t sure where I wanted to go, but I decided I would run all of Edgar to start. I didn’t know how far it was, and I was curious. I think it is only about a mile and a half. From there, I was able to run in the same area while avoiding the same path. I went by the Schnucks in Webster on the way home, running behind it, and noticed there was so much shrubbery that had grown as a barrier between the parking lot and the train tracks. I had some water by the track in the community center. It wasn’t cold at first, so I waited for a while to see if the temperature would change, but when it didn't, I gave up and drank only a few mouthfuls and headed home.
I saw this mushroom house on my way home, which made me feel whimsical. I wanted to take something and bring something back, like the sign suggested. Why didn’t I ever make something like that for my front yard?
I worked on the video last night for hours. I started my timer with only 15 minutes, but I ended up working on it for a couple of hours, which makes it more likely that it will get done! The only problem with taking any time off from working on it is that the less I work on it, the more time it will take to start the process, so the video should be done by Saturday next week at the latest but maybe sooner.
