Day 2,508 —Grant’s Carwash— (Lindbergh Sunrise, Empty Parking Lot Sunrise, and Open Field Sunrise

Why would General Grant have a carwash? Most people don’t even know why there is so much Grant related historical artifacts in Saint Louis at all, but this carwash is not a historical artifact, but some business deciding to use his image for marketing. There is one sign that has a picture of Grant driving an old car. In the picture Grant is depicted clean-shaven with a cigar. It is such a strange version of him that I have never seen anywhere else. I have driven and ran by this carwash so many times without much thought, but today it struck me how odd it truly is. However, I wonder if there are like business of past presidents around the country? Is there maybe Roosevelt computer store repair store somewhere? How about a Lincoln Storage place? 

I felt really good today and just strong. I hope I can keep it up and have a great run on Saturday.
