Day 2,526 —Full Recovery and Thanks for the Water Dad— (with a Food Truck and a Green Light)

I didn’t know where I was going, but I knew I was going to get there seemingly quickly, and I did. I didn’t bring any water, and I only had a banana for breakfast, but I felt so good. I kind of wanted to do a full marathon, but I was getting pretty hungry. Maybe I will convince myself to go out again and do another six. I certainly feel good enough. It felt like the city got so small as I ran and each strip had something interesting to offer.

I ended up going to folks’ house again to get some water because all the water fountains were pretty much closed. It didn’t look like anyone was there. I had just finished 14 miles without water and still mostly feeling fresh. My dad showed up and gave me the tour of the garage and gave me plenty of water. It was extremely helpful. It is nice to be able to just run to someone’s house and visit for a minute. It somehow feels different than driving to visit. Maybe I should start trying to travel all my social occasions by foot. It certainly makes for a good reason to have to leave early, “I would stay, but it is getting dark, and I didn’t bring my light.”
Have a good Saturday! You will feel better after you get vaccinated!
