Day 2,529 —Caught in the Rain— (with Sunrise 1 and Sunrise 2)

I kept thinking as I started my run, “it looks like it is going to rain,” and yeah, I shouldn’t be surprised that it rained, but it was really light. I felt fortunate that it only started in the second half of my run. I am still wearing long sleeves shirts and gloves, but I imagine most people might feel comfortable in shorts and a t-shirt. 

I figured I was just going to run for an hour, so I was trying to not think about the pace and have fun. I realized how far I have gotten from frequently taking breaks as I run, and even stopping to mediate for a few minutes sometimes to keep my heart rate down. I have gotten in too much of a hurry as I run. I need to slow down and remember, “there is nothing else I would rather be doing,” but the truth is now there is always so much I might not be rather doing, but things I need to do.
