Day 2,531 —Glimpses of Spring— (with a Spider and Red Berries)

Colder than yesterday, but still pretty nice. I am still wearing my gloves and my hat, but once summer hits, I will be wishing for this colder weather. If only it could stay in the 60s all the time, with plenty of sunshine and no wind, but I am sure I would eventually get bored with that too. The weather is a nice reminder that time is passing because it is easy to forget. I still feel like that same little kid that I have always been, and I have to remind myself constantly that I am thirty-five years old; I still feel like I am pretending to be an adult hoping no one will notice. I still don’t exactly believe that this is my life. Is it still possible that I might wake up from this, and I realize I am still twelve and in a coma?

However, things are better now for me than they ever have been before, but that is easy to forget when all I can remember is the now and nothing else seems to have really happened; it is more like a story that you tell yourself.
