Day 2,955 —Cold Sunshine — with a PICTURE of the ORANGE GLOW of the SUNRISE #740

I was surprised to see that it was supposed to be sub 50 degrees on this vibrant Monday morning. I mostly felt good as I cheerfully said, “Good morning!” to people on the street. My thoughts were concerning my anxiety about feeling better quickly since I will have to be on an airplane on Friday. On the plus side, I am not that worried about it, not that there aren’t good reasons to be worried, yet everything seems easier after you do a 50-mile trail race in a thunderstorm. If I could make that work, I am sure I can figure out how to navigate the last week of school with a goal of resting and recovering to be ready to fly by Friday: let’s hope so anyway.
