Day 2,970 —And the Bird just stood there and Looked at me (3 runs until the Lighthouse) — with a PICTURE from the AT

I noticed the line of geese across the parking lot. I slowly approached before I started taking pictures. They usually start in with me whenever I stop or get too close. Today, they only looked at me as I talked and asked them if it was okay that I took a few pictures. I got as close as I dared to. The other birds, never so much as glanced at me with anger. I wonder if this will be the new pattern, or if something was different this morning that I was unaware of. 

I saw a doe start to run wildly in the other direction as I thought about the geese.
