Day 2,985 —an Unlikely Possibility— with a PICTURE of SUNRISE by the TRAIN TRACKS #758

I debated buying the Garmin scale for 150 bucks, but ultimately decided to go with a cheaper option. I don’t know accurate any of these statistics are but a lot of it makes sense based on what I know about my body. It says I have a low metabolism, which I have always suspected. Having a low metabolism is a definite advantage as an ultra-running, and it makes sense considering what I have noticed about not needing to eat a lot during a long run.

I was falling asleep last night when I decided I should go for a run. I was curious how my body would handle it without any coffee, and without deviating from my schedule.

I moved slow, but I was awake by the time I got home. I am going to try to go for a run tonight too, to prepare for the Dusk 2 Dawn. I would like to sleep in one of these days, but with my cats and daughter it is an unlikely possibility.
