Day 3,843 —Last Monday in October—
I am not sure if it is possible to get negative sleep, but that is what it feels like I achieved yesterday. I was getting so tired while sitting up that I stood up at a table, but still, I was fighting back yawns. I was thinking this morning about how oblivious the cars were in Crestwood when I was there yesterday. It is interesting how in some areas drivers are conscientious and go slow, while in other places, the drivers act like they have never seen a pedestrian.
I waved my hands and yelled when a car continued through the yellow light, not checking if someone might be on the road. I will not cross in front of a car unless I either make eye contact with the driver or they stop. This car didn’t notice me until I started waving my arms and yelling. A little while later I was crossing the entrances to a plaza and a car drove straight to the street and might have hit me, but I stopped suddenly, and the driver did too, but it scared us both.
While running this morning, I noticed the sky and thought about if it would be possible for me to take a long nap.
