Day 3,844 —Random Signing—

 

I saw a family of deer today, so I took some pictures and walked close to them. I was wondering where everyone else was, or if they were just wandering around on their own.

I noticed a sign on my lawn that I didn’t see yesterday. I confirmed at least that it was a sign for the same political party I support, but bizarrely, someone decided to put it in my yard.

I decided to look up stories in the local news yesterday to see if this was something that other people reported, and it showed how some local high school kids stole a bunch of Harris signs, and one UPS worker put pro-Trump stickers on yard signs, but nothing about people randomly putting up signs.

I can understand the impulse to be upset about signs you don’t agree with, but not cool. I am not a huge fan of the business that have huge political signs or flags out, but I would never damage a sign. The signs do look trashy and maybe that’s me be classist, but I don’t want to go into a business that has a huge bumper sticker endorsing a political candidate plastered near the entrance.
