Day 3,841 —a Hundred times Before —

My phone said it was in the 40s, but it didn’t seem that cool after I had been running a few miles. I decided to run in Old Webster, down Lockwood, and see the fall décor.

There must be some kind of festival in Kirkwood today because so many cars were parked by the trailhead. I thought about going to check it out but wanted to keep to my original plan and go right and then down Lockwood to the road by the school. There is always something comforting about going in a circle, especially one I have done a hundred times before.

I checked the results for the Mini Ha Ha today, and it looks like I am still #1, and # 2 respectively. Part of me thinks, should I have tried to get a 3rd spot on the board? It does feel good to be on the top of at least one race’s result page.
