Day 3,971 —Wind and Lighting—

 

My cats got me a full 30 minutes earlier this morning, which at first made me annoyed, but the plus was that I got to run a little more, and I was surprised that my phone said it was in the 60s. It was super windy though, so I still wore a long-sleeved shirt and a hat. It wasn’t raining yet, but I could still see the lightning highlight the clouds and make the streets and the trees glow with the after-effect of its illumination. It was cool, scary, and exhilarating. I wish I could always make it out right before a thunderstorm.

 

I saw a herd of deer out, and I took some pictures and tried to walk closer to them, but I didn’t want to startle them or make them run away. I wonder where they will go to get away from the storm.
