Day 3,992 —Having Surgery—

 

          “It looks like you had your wisdom teeth taken out, you had our tonsils removed, and you had surgery on your deviated septum. All a long time ago. Have you had any other surgeries since then?”

          “No.” I told the lady who was prepping me for my surgery on Friday. She makes it seem odd that I haven’t had any surgery in twenty-years or so, but it seems pretty normal to me. What kinds of things do people usually have surgery for by this time in their life?

I ran with my weighted vest again today, and it felt too big. It kept bouncing no matter how many times I tightened it. Still, if I am not going to run many miles.
