Day 3,991 —Back at it!—

I had been sleeping until 7 a.m. most days during spring break, so turning my clock back three hours worried me, but I shouldn’t have been because I was up and feeling okay, if only a little sluggish trying to remember my normal routine. I decided to run with my 20-pound vest today. I hadn’t used it since I bought it because it was the same week I was sick and was struggling to do everything, but it felt fine running with the extra weight, and I was surprised to see that my time wasn’t that different compared to what it has been this week.

We’re getting close to two weeks until the 200-mile race, which is insane! But also a reminder that I need to sign up for another 100-mile race in the summer and in the fall. I have a few that I have been looking at, but I keep thinking I want to do different races except for a couple. I don’t know if I am going to plan to run the Shawnee Hill again this year, or should I try for something different now that I finally got the buckle?
