Day 3,978 —Suddenly Beautiful—

I was inside most of yesterday writing reports, but once I left my office, I marveled at the sublime nature of the day—the wind in my hair, my hair in my face. When I got home, I took my kids outside, and we had dinner at our picnic table.

Spring Break is next week, and I am looking forward to taking my daughter to the Botanic Gardens, among other places. She is so fun to spend time with. This morning, she wanted me to hug her after I got back from my run. I told her I was all sweaty, but she said she didn’t mind.

I went after the moon again. Even though today it wasn’t hanging as low, and it wasn’t the yellowish color it was yesterday. In my picture, it will look like it could be the start of a sunrise, but that’s the way the moon always looks in pictures. In movies, they show this huge moon in focus, and I am usually sitting there thinking, “That’s a digital moon!” The moon is never as big in pictures as it looks in person.
