Day 3,988 —the Sun was Out and Geese were Fighting—
During this run, I sat in front of a pond full of geese fighting. At first, I thought maybe they were angry that I was intruding, but they started squaring off and swimming at each other.
It was good to not be worried about how much I was going to run today and what I needed to do this weekend. I am making breakfast food now. It is one of the many benefits of running 100 miles the weekend before. It still seems like something, and I am looking forward to my 200-mile run in less than 3 weeks! I cannot wait to test myself, to try something that I don’t know if I can do or not.
I don’t know what the end result will be, but I know I can try and try some more, and I am actually looking forward to the result. My goal will be to run the whole time until someone tells me to stop.
Leading up to the race my only goal will be to go to Lone Elk each weekend and do some trail miles and be by the river.
