Day 2,469 –Do People Still Go to Diners? —

I assume they do go because I often see people sitting there cramped together through this window. I believe we still have a ban on inside dining in the county. Maybe, that is why they are closed. I used to love sitting around places like this while drinking copious amounts of coffee, eating eggs and bacon, and talking to a friend or reading a book. 

Now I think about if there is really anything, I could eat on a menu from a place like this? Black coffee is always an option and some fruit and hash browns. I probably could still make it work. 

I think what I really liked was sitting and drinking coffee for hours and feeling safe from the world, the food was mostly decorative.
