Day 2,477 —Surprisingly Reasonable Creatures—

I missed the sunrise, but I missed the rain too. It had started to drizzle slightly during the end of my run, but it was hardly noteworthy. What was noteworthy about this run was the dog that I suddenly notice running next to me on my left-hand side. I immediately stopped when I saw that he had gotten himself worked up about something, probably me running through his street. I talked to him calmly, and he reluctantly went home. I used to get so worked up about dogs chasing me, but now each time I stop and speak calmly to them. I tell them that they are doing a great job protecting their street. They are surprisingly reasonable creatures.
