Day 2,610 —Has it really only been a Week? — with a PICTURE of a TREE and a CEMETERY

So much has changed since last week and I am still processing it. It feels weird still knowing that I won’t be teaching in the fall. I think I am going to enjoy my new job. I have been enjoying meeting the people that I will be working with this week, so far. A lot of passionate people that care about education and helping young people.

I wasn’t sure how much I was going to do today, but I started out slow and ran to White Cliff Park. It looks like they have made some progress on the construction next to the bat caves. I went the back way out of the park, and I enjoyed my time in the trails. I am getting excited thinking about my run next week on the Mohican Trails. I have been training and thinking about this run for about 18 months now. I know I got to get back into planning and prep mode, but I am not there yet, but hopefully Thursday I will mentally start prepping for the race.

It is a beautiful Saturday, and I am looking forward to being able to go to my nephew’s soccer game. He is playing for first place! Wish him luck.
