Day 2,582 —a Light Jog— with more ICE SICKLES

I was thinking I would really push today but it has been a long week, and I am going to have to hold out a little, to hopefully have a better day tomorrow. My sandals didn’t help any just because my right foot was sticking out some, so my big toe got blisters, and I went home to put on a different pair shoes, but then I just figured maybe that’s enough for today.

I think I have done enough to prepare for the ultra-run I am doing on June 5th and if I end up not being able to finish, I am sure I will learn a lot in the process.
I have been thinking about different finals that I could give my 9th graders this year. I was thinking a “How to Survive a Pandemic,” project might be fun. The risk is always that less kids are always less willing to do project for some reason. When I was in school, I always thought projects should have more appeal than a test, but if I give a test I can get everyone to take it for the most part and get some type of score. If I do a project, I am more likely to get half the kids just not turn it in. I could always do both . . . I might just have the kids write as an assignment in class, and then for the final they could just read it for the class or make a prerecorded video if they would rather.
I’ll have to think about it some more.
Have a great Saturday!
