Day 2,589 —a Mindless Run— with a PICTURE of a LOVE LOCK

Some days I have more on my mind than others, today the run went by surprisingly fast. It was fun piecing together the route I took. I am still dealing with pain in my left foot, but it is reassuring to know it gets better. I found the track at Afton high school, but then I realized I had found it before. I wish there was a water fountain there that worked, but it is a nice private track. There was one other person there reading the newspaper as he walked. Someone had left out the hurdles, so I decided to jump some. It was hard and my jump was awkward, but I made it over and landed successfully. 

I love being able to just go out and run in any direction and being able to put together a route. I am sure I will only continue to know this area even better, but it is pretty big. The city isn’t that big, but all the different counties lead a vast area to cover. I know Webster, Kirkwood and Shrewsbury pretty well as well as all the surrounding smaller municipalities, but there are still areas that I haven’t explored yet. There are still so many places left to run to. Where will I go tomorrow?
