Day 2,638 —Fallen Limbs— with a PICTURE of GEESE
Last night, I was so tired I could hardly make it to the bedroom. It was 9:30 p.m. My wife told me the lightning was spectacular, but I had to take her word for it because I could not imagine moving to go to the window or outside.
There was plenty of evidence of the storm this morning, tree limps scattered throughout the streets and people’s yards.
I saw a tree split down the middle off Edgar. It was a lovely tree and now its limbs scattered about, splinters in all. Poor tree just happened to be born in the wrong place.
