Day 2,649 —Looking at a Fly— today with a PICTURE of a SWEETGUM
I went about the same route I went yesterday. Often times, I do something different, but sometimes I get in the groove of creating a routine, and I do that for a week. It can be easier to take pictures of a place that you remember vividly the day before. Sometimes I pass things that I think of for pictures but don’t end up stopping. I take a lot of my pictures in my mind as I gaze at an object thinking about what the frame might look like. A lot of my pictures never make it past this stage of visualizing, but the ones that do mostly take form in a way I couldn’t see in my mind. I normally capture the same frame that I picture, but it rarely has the same effect that I had imagined.
I saw this fly today not moving much hiding in a flower. He was so much easier to take a picture of compared to the bees yesterday. I wonder what he is doing there. I am trying to figure out what kind of fly it was now. He had some green on his back I noticed, otherwise he looks like a housefly.
