Day 3,455—Morning Nature—

I was passing the type of house that puts fake deer in the front yard, but when I looked again, they moved, and their eyes were glowing. I wanted to take a picture, but they were right next to the window, so I kept my distance. Next, I saw two eyes so close to the ground you would believe it might be a squirrel, but it was a kitten, I’m sure. I stopped, wondering if they were a stray or possibly belonging to one of the houses close, but it ran away quickly, so it must have been older than I thought. Lastly, as I approached my back door, I saw the glowing eyes of two of my cats watching me come home in the dark. They greet me at the door. My other cat is on my computer chair, saving the seat for me.
