Day 3,480—Cold Monday—

My watch has consistently told me the wrong temperature. When I go to the full weather report, it is right, but the information it shows on the face is wrong. It said it was 44 and raining but it was in the 20s and dry. I put on my full winter gear, pants, hat, gloves, jacket, and scarf. I didn’t need to wear that much gear but I felt unfairly attacked by the cold weather. I was determined not to even appear to notice the wind.

And, then, it ended up not being that bad. I moved slow and looked at the trees and the leaves on the ground. I was over on the paths that run through the Catholic-owned churches and buildings when I saw a truck with a paper license plate sitting in the parking lot. No one else was there, the windows were tented, and the car was running. It seemed odd. Why do so many people decide to fully tent their windows? I get the privacy, but it does make you look like you have something to hide.
