Day 3,481—Full Moon and the Pre-Race Video—
I was excited to learn more about the race, so I eagerly started the video but was shocked when I saw the run time was 1:45:05?! How was it possible that the pre-race video, which usually in person goes from 5 to 20 minutes, would be longer than most feature-length films? When I started it, I immediately knew I was going to be in a treat with this race. The race director seemed meticulous and on top of it. He talked about his plans to continue to clear the trail leading up to the race, and I could see the pride in his eyes when he boasted how clean the trails would be from branches and brush.
Thinking, I should call in today despite all the reasons not to and how difficult it would make things for me moving forward, but I want to watch Macbeth at least two different versions. I haven’t even watched all the versions I bought two years ago when the new one came out.
My mom texted me last night raving about the full moon, but I couldn’t see it when I looked out my back window, so I thought I would see most of it today, but it didn’t look as full as I thought it would, and it was hanging so high it seemed more like a dim light in my picture. Some moon you are this morning.
