Day 3,789 —Pinkish, Red Clouds Ripple Across the Sky—

I am not sure why today of all days we were treated with such a colorful morning. As soon as I left my house, I took some pictures. The clouds were such a complicated shade of magenta. I kept on going back and forth if I thought it looked like there was more red or pink throughout. I went to the train tracks to get a few pictures there, but it was still dark, and it wasn’t as easy to see the contrast of the sky, so I went towards Laclede through the Walmart parking lot. When I got to the other side, I felt like going right instead of straight up the hill. I am not sure why.

Once I made it back to the hill, I noticed the view of the sunrise. I took a few pictures from different angles, but it was difficult to feel done when the sky was still so gorgeous. As I ran towards my home, I stopped again to get the sky’s reflection in the duck pond. It is one of those pictures that seems cliché because it matches this ideal we are used to seeing online.
