Day 3,792 —Almost Forgot—

 

I spent the morning working on scripts for work. I was able to complete everything before going on this run, but it was a mad dash until the finish, but that’s good. I like being busy if I am feeling useful, which is easy because I am working with an exceptional group of teachers.

Only three weeks of school, but so much has happened. I am glad to be done with this run, but I am looking forward to the Farmdale 100 in October and running Grand Canyon in November! It is good to feel in 100-mile running shape.

A dog barked at me this morning. I decided to try to sing a little, like I do to calm down my 1-year-old, and I was surprised the dog backed off. Proving once and for all that singing is a powerful strategy when dealing with animals.
