Day 3,794 —What I want More—

I didn’t start until later, but it still felt like morning when I went outside. I wasn’t sure where I was going, but I decided to go up Watson and back through Grant’s trail. I spent some time on the trails and the park. There were a bunch of closed for construction signs, but I didn’t see anything until I made it to the place where there used to be a bridge. It looked like such a mess, with metal poles everywhere, like the background of a fighting game. There were plenty of places to jump to and a lot of stuff that looked like it would be fun to throw.

Sure, 15 miles is something but should I be ramping up right now as opposed to winding down? I have two big runs coming up. One in October and one in November. Right now, I don’t know if I am going to do another run in December, but I am doing the Shippey in January and after that, I am not sure. I am not planning on running the Mini Ha Ha this year because I am doing a different run the weekend before, but part of me still wants to go and do what I can, or show up to crew, but I have had two almost identical races. Part of me wants to walk away and never run there again, but I don’t know what I want more.
