Day 3,803 —Super Blue Moon—

I read an article yesterday about the moon. I had forgotten about it until I ran around the corner and looked to my left and saw the huge moon hanging low in the sky.

It is frustrating to take pictures of the moon because it is too bright to see the details that you can see with your naked eye. It is not impossible, and I have taken detailed pictures of the moon, but when you want the moon in the background of your shot, it never looks right.

Part of me feels like I should be able to recreate everything I see, but the more I reflect on the idea, I like that there are some things you have to see to believe, that you have to be there to understand.

I think that is a refrain in a song that I like, “You would have had to be there.”
