Day 4,104—Lost Chicken! And Grocery Shopping—

I went to two stores today. First, to my local grocer to buy some vegan eggs. I have wanted to make breakfast food a lot recently. Yesterday, I made hash browns and sautéed peppers and onions, but we didn’t have any vegan eggs, so I wasn’t sated. I used my 55L bag. When I packed everything up, I liked how easy it was to carry everything, and the cold of the frozen items was refreshing.

Next, I went to Wal-Mart, which is always annoying, but there is one right by my house, and they have a few things I cannot find elsewhere. It doesn’t seem to matter when I go; I always end up waiting a long time when I go to checkout. It always amazes me what people are buying there. The person in front of me was buying big tubs of ice cream and root beer.

When I was running with my backpack partially full, I kept hearing someone yelling behind me, so I turned around. It was someone on a bike who acknowledged me with a fist bump expression. I reciprocated, not knowing what I was being recognized for.

I started thinking about if there was a rule that everyone had to be able to carry every food item they purchase and how that would change eating habits.
