I slept in this morning. I had a hard time convincing myself to go to work this morning. It feels like my mind is already on summer break, so the act of going to work seems counterintuitive, but still, last Monday! And each day this week, I imagine I will have plenty to keep me occupied. I am now also realizing that I have another race to prep for that is coming up so soon. One of my shoes ripped during the Berryman. It isn’t that bad right now, but part of me thinks I might as well buy another pair of shoes. I would like to have two pairs of hiking shoes I can count on, but I only have one right now. I have two other pairs of hiking shoes I don’t like. Well, these are problems for a different day. Right now, I have everything I need to make it through the day. Today it is surprisingly hot! Most likely the hottest morning of the year.
