Day 4,447—Photographing Mist in the Morning—
Start time: 5:32 a.m.
Weather: Low 60s, wind 2.5 mi/h, Humidity 91%
I started out at sunrise, and the difference it made was huge. Almost no cars were out on Watson yet. I didn’t see hardly anyone awake. I don’t even think anyone was at Shrewsberry Park. There were people at Blackburn Park whenever I made it over there, but that was after an hour of running. I couldn’t pay attention to the book I was listening to, but I enjoyed listening to the silence. It was so quiet!
I tried to take a picture of the mist I saw hanging over a field at Blackburn, but I could tell right away it wouldn’t photograph well. That’s okay. I’ll remember it hanging low right above the grass. When I made it back home to see my kids off at dropoff, I had already done 7 and a half, so I didn’t feel like I needed to do much more, but I liked the idea of doing about 10 miles a day during the week. I am not sure if I will keep myself to that every day, but I think it is a good goal for the week. My focus is to be productive every day!
