Day 4,452—More of the Same—

Start time: 9:05 a.m.

Weather: Low 80s, wind 6.7 mi/h, Humidity 79%

I saw the heat warning this morning when I started running. I carried 3 liters of water like I did yesterday. It was heavy, so I tried not to think about it as much as I might under normal circumstances. I wasn’t sure what route to take, and to my surprise, the route didn’t become as fleshed out as I would have imagined. I couldn’t remember the exact way that I started, so I made some quick decisions as I drew closer to home, going through Edgar. I wish I didn’t need to be so dependent on running 20 miles without aid. I walked the hills, and I didn’t hesitate to take it easy if I felt it would help longevity and make it easier for me to feel prepared for the next race. I took a picture of this scene of flowers off Sappington.
