Day 2,662 —Late Night Snacks— with a PICTURE of PINK FLOWERS

Yesterday, I felt sluggish lumbering across the road around 5:30 in the morning. Today, I was sprinting down hills and running as if my body didn’t require any effort to move.

When I was running the paths through the local university, I saw a set of stairs and went for it. I thought to myself why I felt so good all the sudden and then I thought back to what I ate last night before I went to bed.

I had a plate of broccoli that I dipped into some hummus. I normally might eat a sugar fee popsicle after my daughter finally goes to sleep, and my wife and I have roughly three minutes of alone time before we need to get ready for bed. Last night I felt guilty for eating out for lunch, so I stuck with broccoli. I am so glad that I did—thank you broccoli!
