Day 2,688 —You are Welcome! — with my PICTURE of TREES CLOUDS and a WOODEN FENCE

This lady was going the opposite direction of me about a hundred feet away, and she crossed into the street, and then shouted, “You're Welcome!” at me.

At the same time, I was waving and saying, “good morning.” After I had passed her and realized what had happened, I chuckled to myself. I supposed she was mad I didn’t cross in the street for her. I wondered how many times she had done that before.

I was down in South City running in Cradonlet Park. A lot of people out, but hardly any looked at me when we passed. I got some stilted, good mornings, occasionally, but for the most part everyone seemed to have something else on their mind.

I stopped and drank about twenty ounces of water at every water fountain that I found, but I was still thirsty and a little hungry.

Tomorrow begins another week, and August is almost over.
