Day 2,670 —I Don’t Like Beer Anymore— with a PICTURE of MAGENTA TINTED PINK FLOWERS

My headlamp died as I stepped out the door. I went back and scrambled for my back up. I saw an elderly man driving frustrated in a parking lot as I headed towards Webster. I was already feeling the heat five-minutes into the run. I hope it is not this bad over the weekend when I’ll do more.

I saw a few other runners out who all greeted me mutually as we passed each other in the dark. One runner, I saw out without a headlamp. One I saw moving steadily with their light blazing onto the sidewalk and then the street. I am tired yet focused on another purpose driven day.

Beer used to be one of my favorite drinks, but when I stopped drinking and then started drinking occasionally, I discovered that most beer taste too sweet, and alcohol has an unpleasant aftertaste that sours everything. I would like to be able to enjoy a beer occasionally but that is difficult to do.
