Day 2,663 —Surprisingly Cold—with a PICTURE of PINK FLOWERS PART II

Strava says it felt like 61 °F but it felt a lot colder to me. I could see my own breath on parts of the run. I went to the track and was surprised to see the parking lot partially full. Two other people were already running on the track when I got there, and others were arriving. I didn’t stay long.

The sunrise was a pretty shade of pink. When I crossed the train tracks, I took a picture. I cut back over the highway to find that it had been recently vandalized with graffiti. There were still washed away graffiti from the last time, but now someone painted over the older names and crude pictures with their own versions.

I bent down to take another picture, and suddenly felt the bridge shaking. I thought it must be from the highway, but when I looked up, I noticed another person running just past me.

I silently think that the image of the person running while I squat on the ground with my camera would have made for a better picture than the one, I had just taken.
