Day 2,681 —Not Too Bad— with my PICTURE of a PATH in LONE ELK PARK

The cats woke me up, and I fed them, and then thought that I might as well stay up.

I went down Laclede and the weather was nice and balmy. Cars were zooming by, but not enough to really bother me. I went left on Newport, which I took all the way to Kirkham. On Newport I ran through a local park that looked like my daughter would enjoy. It wasn’t big but seemed to hide itself from the road so well.

On Kirkham I ran by a creek in a little path I found about a year ago. The creek by the path was low today. I took Rock Hill to Lockwood.

Lockwood was filled with a lot of runners, bikers, and walkers. I exchanged waves and smiles to a lot of friendly faces. I took a few more pictures near the end, but I was ready to go home. I was planning on walking a few miles after my run, but I got distracted walking with my daughter, and by making potatoes and tofu. Happy Sunday!
